A private online class tailor made just for you!

We all know that we’ve never seen a scenario like this before, one where we’re bound to home, unable to live life normally until things get better. And I know it can be frustrating – but while we can keep thinking about the negatives, we must think about turning a situation around and somehow making the most of it. That’s when I began to think of the amount of time I’m going to get to spend on improving my calligraphy! I told myself, “Self-quarantine might just work out very well! – Hours and hours of uninterrupted, dedicated practice for a couple of weeks.” doesn’t sound too bad does it? 

While we do our bit of staying at home, which means no in person workshops for a long time, I thought it might be helpful to open up slots for virtual private classes. These are online sessions with me to cover topics and go over specific areas that you are struggling with. You may have been practicing for a couple of months but aren’t sure about your progress, or feel that you need to fine tune – this class is for you as we will critique your work together, and put down a plan on regular practice, drills and the way forward. 

Remember – Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent! So let’s make sure we’re practicing our script correctly, with the right posture, angle, tools and more! 

How long is it for? 

You can chose between a 60 min class and a 90 min class

Who is this for? 

This is for those who have already begun their journey in copperplate calligraphy or modern calligraphy (beginner or intermediate) and would like to improve their skill, ask lots of questions, get feedback and have someone to critique their work. 

What will we cover? 

The beauty of this class is that it will be tailor made for you. Apart from going over drills, basic strokes for lowercase and uppercase, some tips and tricks, do’s and don’ts, we cover topics that you would like to spend time on. Anything that you have trouble with or would like to practice more of is what we focus on. 

How much does it cost? 

60 minutes : Rs. 2500 + taxes 

90 minutes : Rs. 3500 + taxes

What material will be provided? 

We will send you an email with worksheets for you to print and complete before our class. This will include some drills and exercises that we can go over and work on together. 

Material Required by Student: 

1. An Oblique holder

2. A flexible pointed nib

3. Ink 

4. Good quality calligraphy friendly paper 

5. Print out of the worksheets sent to you over email

6. A computer/ipad with good internet
