Join us for an immersive and innovative workshop tailored for advanced-level calligraphers and lettering artists who are ready to push the boundaries of their craft!

Led by three seasoned instructors – Master Calligrapher Achyut Palav, Bookbinder Nitika Mirchandani and Calligrapher Sanjana Chatlani -– this workshop is designed to unlock the untapped potential in your artistic journey and give you varied approaches and thout processes from each instructor. 

Our primary goal is to empower you to think beyond traditional norms and explore the vast spectrum of possibilities between calligraphy, paper folds and bookbinding. Delve into the realm of unconventional folding techniques, intricate stitching methods, and binding styles that will transform your creations into stunning works of art! From accordion folds to map folds, from elegant stitch-bound books to innovative packaging solutions, we'll guide you through a diverse array of approaches to showcase your work in ways that defy expectations. 

In today's competitive artistic landscape, clients are constantly seeking fresh and distinctive offerings. This workshop provides a unique opportunity to elevate your practice and meet the demands of discerning clientele. Explore how to compose and layout expansive text across multiple pages, creating experiences that transcend the confines of traditional framed art –  40 years of experience with Achyut Palav who will take us through stories of past projects, innovative designs and how he uses calligraphic strokes to create art and designs, or Nitika who has created the most gorgeous paper crafts and Sanjana who shares insights on the pulse of the industry today and what clients are looking for. Between three varied personalities – you’ve got a gold mine of information and knowledge to learn from. 

Whether you're crafting pamphlets, compiling poems, curating quotes, or weaving together short stories, this workshop will empower you to create compelling narratives that resonate deeply with your audience, pushes you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new! This workshop is an IN PERSON Class on. Sunday 14th April , 2024 . We have two calls on Zoom - one on Sunday 7th April, and the other on Sunday 21st April

Sunday 7th April - Prep Call at 12pm IST on Zoom 

Sunday. 14th April - In Person Workshop at 9:30am in Person

Sunday 21st April - Final thoughts at 12pm IST on Zoom

The workshop is inclusive of certain materials. We will share a list of other material for you to carry

A working lunch will be provided on Sunday 14th April
