Lettering has become extremely common these days, very playful and fun and we see it all around us. But letters have a specific relation with size, shape and proportions that we need to learn to be able to play. In this workshop we are going to investigate where these letters are from, where the latin alphabeth comes from, how to make them and how easily we can use our knowledge, creativity and tools to empower them.

We will first start with understanding the skeleton of the alphabets moving on to understand how to join and form words. We will then move into "dressing up" our letters to be able to create variations.

-Pencil

-Eraser

-Smooth paper to work on

-Ruler

-Set square

-Gelpens, markers, metallic pen - any funky pens you may have
