Sakura is our first pearlized liquid calligraphy ink! Full of brilliance and perfect for application on both light and dark backgrounds, this liquid ink performs best when used with a magnetic stirrer as the pearlized pigments naturally wish to rest at the bottom of your inkwell.

It’s both perfect for achieving fine and bold lines—and appears light pink on dark papers and a deeper pink on light papers. We admit that it's not the most affordable ink out there - but what we put in it is magic in its own way - and more consistent than using metallic gouache for sure! It also won't get a gross and moldy top surface like lots of inks as well!
